On Monday 15 September 2025, ten enthusiastic Year 5 and Year 6 student authors and illustrators rose to the challenge — writing and illustrating an entire book in just one day for The Kids’ Cancer Project.
Their story had to include a mechanic, an astronomer, a wolf, a mountain and a missing school bag… and a few surprise words thrown in for good measure!
We are so proud of their creativity, teamwork and dedication to making a difference through storytelling.
